Eagan Funfest opens

Eagan's Fourth of July party, Funfest, opened Tuesday afternoon, July 3, with a carnival, food trucks and music.
A group jumped the queue plunking a row of chairs in front the dozens already at the event and blocking the audience's view of the stage. Some residents said they have opted for more family-friendly alternatives in other towns because of rude behavior, public drinking, and a lack of security presence at the event.
